That’s why we’re proud to support Westlake Robotics (FIRST Robotics Competition Team 2468 and affiliates) and their continued success both on and off the competition field.
A Meaningful Partnership
Earlier this year, we were happy to host the Westlake Robotics at our Open House event, where their team presented to our staff and guests. It was an inspiring opportunity to see firsthand the talent, dedication, and technical skill these students bring to the world of advanced manufacturing and robotics, as well as gave the students the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments.
Following that visit, Impac Systems Engineering was honored to contribute to their program—support that is already making a measurable impact.
Strong Performance on the Competition Field
Westlake Robotics recently kicked off their season at a regional competition in Belton, delivering impressive results across all three of their teams:
- FRC Team 2468 (Senior Team)
- 1st Place Finish
- Alliance Captain (1st Alliance)
- Industrial Design Award Winner
- Scored 73 points
- FRC Team 2687 (Intermediate Team)
- 10th Place Finish
- Alliance Captain (7th Alliance)
- Innovation in Control Award Winner
- Scored 31 points
- FRC Team 2689 (Beginner Team)
- 3rd Place Finish
- Alliance Captain (2nd Alliance)
- Scored 48 points
These achievements highlight not only technical excellence but also leadership and teamwork—skills that are critical in today’s manufacturing and engineering industries.
Expanding Impact Through STEM Outreach
Beyond competition, Westlake Robotics continues to grow its outreach efforts, helping make STEM more accessible and inclusive:
- FLL4All Program – Introducing younger students to robotics and engineering fundamentals
- STEM Girls Nights – Encouraging and empowering young women to explore STEM pathways
These initiatives are opening doors for future innovators and helping build a more diverse and capable workforce.
