When CAD data was lost, Artec’s handheld scanner Artec Spider II captured a full-color, sub-millimeter-accurate model of the original shoe — down to every stitch, texture and surface detail. Using that 3D data as a foundation, Saucony was able to faithfully resurrect the Matrix, accelerating product development while preserving the original design’s character and vibe.
